The prison ministry outreach is based on the Great Commission of Matthew 28:19-20 to go and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to follow Christ and Matthew 25:35-36 "for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me."
As ministers of the gospel and carriers of God's presence we believe that no one is to far gone for God to rescue, renew, and restore to new life, no matter what their crime or sin was. Our mission is to go show them the love of Christ and minister the gospel to them so they can experience the love of Christ for themselves and because of this we see the lives of men and women being transformed before our very own eyes.
These men and women are being healed, delivered, and set free right where they are. Going into the prison is just part of this ministry because as the people are being released we also help them to get into churches, programs, housing, clothing and any other way we can help them to stay on course following the Lord.
